About:
The Audre & Bernard Rapoport Civic Renewal & Community Engagement Conference and Dinner is committed to creating social change through open discussion and exploration of civic education as it pertains to engagement, service learning, social justice, and leadership. All college and university faculty, staff, students, as well as educators and members of the Texas Legislature are invited to examine the critical role that higher education plays in closing the gaps of educational inequity.  Individuals, from both the private and public sector, are encouraged to explore their relationships with institutes of learning to help forge relationships to create active, emerging leaders and effective change. Non-profits and other organizations or teams related to community and volunteerism are invited to expand their knowledge base and network with colleagues.

Thursday evening the Rapoport Conference will hold a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner and awards ceremony. This event is included with price of conference registration.

Single ticket and tables may also be purchased for the dinner at
$100/person or $900 for a table of 10.
