Clark Friesen M.A.

Clark Friesen (BA Cal Poly SLO 1991; MA Texas A&M University 1993) is Professor of Speech Communication and Faculty Service-Learning Coordinator at Lone Star College—Tomball.  Since joining the faculty at Tomball in 2002, Professor Friesen has chaired the system Service-Learning Committee, established the campus Volunteer Center, and helped the campus receive national recognition for its service-learning program.  Professor Friesen regularly promotes the use of service-learning in higher education through local, state and national presentations for groups such as Texas Campus Compact, Texas Community College Teachers Association, and the National Communication Association.
